please go to the facebook link to see all photos and see what has been happening over the last few months
Unfortunately we are suffering some technical issues with the blog so if you'd like to see what I'm up to please click here to keep up to date on our Facebook!
Like most of you the weather has been a little poor here of late. So not much " spotting " being done as you can see on my facebook link I was out and about midweek and plenty of good views especially on Wednesday. This coming week hopefully will get out as I am keen to see what the Golden Eagles are up too along with the White tailed. Last couple of days have seen a pair of Hen Harriers hunting over the back field. Each day I have been watching to see if the WTE that nest opposite in the trees are about but no sign of them which with each passing day of a " no show " is looking less likely that they will be nesting there this year but will keep looking. If not I need to find where they have gone.
I have now invested in a pair of nightvision binoculars so looking forward to getting out at night and seeing what we can find, should be good fun and hopefully on the 4 day breaks we can all get out on our Owl hunt. Also thanks to all who have booked on the breaks, with now 4 fully booked and I am sure we will get to see plenty.
I will update the species list at the end of each month as I am glad to say that I have seen more than " 0 ".
My Facebook page will get updated with photos several times during the week.
So looking forward to getting out this week and I will let you know what I see.
Been out and about plenty over the last week been trying to see Chough and finally today a success till I get back to Mull at the end of next week if you are interested in reading what Island Encounters [ me ] has been doing please see the facebook link which I update several times a week along with photos of a sort.
Some of the breaks are now full as are some days of my day tours so if you are thinking of coming out with me on a tour please let me know asap. Hoping to see Bitten this week, see how that goes on my face book page. Happy viewing.
